Pencil work, pen work, watercolor, and digital art were used to give this fantasy book a very unique style. One of the stories that used fantasy was “ Betty and the Perilous Pizza Day.” The illustrations are simple to understand and very entertaining. I really enjoyed the part where the pizza turns into a monster and escapes into the building.

Another short comic included in this book was “The Magic Acorn.” The author and illustrator does a great job in describing the setting not with the words but with the illustrations. It was very funny to see the squirrels’ expression of annoyance by the other squirrel.
